Police have launched a manhunt after two people were killed during a robbery in Cato Manor in Durban.
KZN police say three assailants approached a car and robbed its occupant of an undisclosed amount of money on Bellair Road yesterday.
Spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says police are investigating cases of murder and armed robbery.
"As they were fleeing the scene the suspect, fire shots and a bystander was caught in the crossfire and died."

Meanwhile, south of Durban, police have made a breakthrough in tracing the suspect linked to a house robbery.
32-year-old Aanda Majola was one of the suspects who robbed victims in a house in uMbumbulu last year.
They coerced the family to transfer R60,000 to their account and ran away with a stolen car.
SAPS spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says Majola was nabbed in Gqeberha, in the Eastern Cape, this week.
" The warrant of arrest was granted and issued against one of the suspects, Intelligence was gathered and Majola made a brief appearance at the uMbumbulu Regional Court and remains in custody until next Wednesday for bail application."
