Manhunt for Illovu woman's killer
The 32-year-old suspect is believed to have been in a relationship with 49-year-old Clementine Madubela, who had been estranged from her husband.
It is understood Madubela had ended the relationship with the suspect on Saturday, asking that he return her vehicle.
The police's Thulani Zwane has urged community members to help the police.
"It is alleged that the suspect assaulted the victim and he took her to the local clinic and thereafter the suspect disappeared. We are appealing to anyone who might have information about his whereabouts to please come forward so that he can be arrested," he said.
