Manhunt for CIT robbers in deadly Benoni heist
Gauteng police are hunting for a gang of cash-in-transit robbers who killed two bystanders on Wednesday.
The group targeted a cash vehicle in Benoni on the East Rand on Wednesday morning.
It's understood they blew it open before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say the two bystanders were randomly shot at by the gang.
Two other people, including a security guard, were wounded.
Three of the getaway cars were recovered from the scene.
