Mandla 'Mampintsha' Maphumulo funeral on Friday

The funeral service of the late award-winning musician and Big Nuz member Mandla Maphumulo will be held at Durban's ICC on Friday.

Maphumulo, also known as Mampintsha, died at a Durban hospital on Christmas Eve after suffering a stroke.
The family's spokesperson Zandile Maphumulo says his wife, musician and artist, Babes Wodumo is having a difficult time coping with his death.
"She is not doing well, these two people were friends, lovers and a husband and wife. The first two days she was not doing well at all. But we are a family that believes in Christ and in prayers.
"We are praying for her each and every day and as days go by we know and understand that things won’t be the same.
"She is taking it step by step and with the support of the family, both from Maphumulo and Simelani I think she is managing becuase we are there for her."
A memorial services will also be held on Thursday.
