#MandelaDay: Youth urged to focus on education

KZN MEC for Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Nomusa Dube-Ncube is urging the youth of today to honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela by making the best of their education.
Dube-Ncube has joined eThekwini in a clean-up operation to give her 67 minutes for Madiba.
Dube-Ncube says it is vital for new generations to use their freedom responsibly. She says Madiba always stressed the importance of education.

"Let us think about what kind of South Africa we would like to inherit. I do believe that it's the kind of South Africa that all of us worked hard in our own way; saying I'm not going to wait for handouts, I'm going to be educated and dedicated to working even harder than my parents," she said.
South Africans across the country are marking the late former president's birthday by giving 67 minutes of their time to community service.
