Man stabbed at Winklespruit beach

A man is receiving treatment in hospital after being stabbed at Winklespruit beach near Amanzimtoti, south of Durban.
Emergency services say the man was attacked at around 8pm last night.
Initial indications are that the victim had been alone when he was approached by an unknown man with a knife.
ER24 says the man, believed to be in his 40s, sustained stab wounds to his chest and arm.
Medics treated the man at the scene before taking him the Prince Mshiyeni Hospital in Umlazi for further care.
