Man shot during robbery at Bellair restaurant

A man was shot by armed robbers in Bellair, south of Durban.
Paramedics were called to an eatery along Sarnia Road on Wednesday night to assist the man who was hit in the leg.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says they found him in a serious condition.
"ALS Paramedics were called to assist at a shooting incident on Sarnia Road near Woodlands Avenue in the Bellair area. On arrival, paramedics found SAPS, multiple security companies and the Local CPF on scene."

"Paramedics were shown to a man in his fifties who had been shot in his lower leg. He was stabilized on scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported through to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
"It is alleged that there was an armed robbery taking place at a restaurant and whilst the suspects were fleeing, they opened fire, injuring the man. SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further."
