A man's been shot and
killed while pursuing a gunman who'd opened fire outside a post office in
Isipingo, south of Durban.

According to police, an argument broke out when two men apparently jumped the queue outside the Isipingo Rail branch earlier today.
Spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala, says one of them produced a gun and fired shots, wounding two people.
She says as the gunman fled, another person chased after after him.
“When he was approached by another male who tried to stop him, he produced his firearm and shot the victim believed to be in his thirties on the chest. The victim was declared dead at the scene,” Gwala said.
“The community members gathered and assaulted the suspect. The suspect was apprehended and brought to the police. His firearm was also seized. A 45-year-old suspect was taken to hospital after he sustained injuries and is under police guard,” Gwala added.
Gwala
says he faces charges of murder and attempted murder.
