Man rescued in iSipingo near drowning

A man is receiving treatment following a near drowning
incident at an iSipingo beach, south of Durban.
Emergency services responded to reports of a drowning along Tiger Rocks Road at about 3pm this afternoon.
Initial indications are that a 33-year-old man got into difficulty while swimming.
A bystander jumped into action when he noticed the man going underneath the water.
The bystander managed to pull him out of the water. Another person called emergency services for more help.
Netcare911 says advanced life support paramedics who responded to the scene found the man to be in a stable condition.
They assessed him before taking him through to hospital.
