A Phoenix man, mauled by two dogs in Northcroft last week, has undergone a series of life-saving operations and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Dharmaseelan Moodley was attacked while walking in Northcroft last Thursday.
"I believe just after 8pm, my brother was walking on Rucklen Road, in Phoenix when he was attacked by two dogs. The dogs are believed to be a pitbull crossbreed and a boerboel cross," his sister, Sarah Naicker said.

Naicker says he suffered serious wounds to his head and neck.
"He sustained very severe injuries to his neck whereby the bones got fractured, thus fracturing the windpipe. So, yesterday they did try take him off the ventilator off and put him on oxygen," Naicker said.
Naicker says they've made contact with the dogs' owner.
