Man nabbed for murder of KZN woman
A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman from the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
28-year-old Nqobile Mabaso's body was found by her father in an old un-used silo on a farm in the KwaHarry area near Balgowan on Saturday.
Police say he had heard about a blood trail not far from the house and followed it only to make the gruesome discovery.
The Police's Shooz Magudulela says it's suspected that Mabaso was raped and then murdered.
''She was last seen on the 13th of May at night with the manager. The police have managed to arrest the 25-year-old suspect who is expected to appear in court. The suspect was found in possession of the victim's cellphone so further investigation continues,'' he said.
