Man killed in North Coast Road collision
A 39 year old man has died following a collision between a small car and a bakkie on North Coast Road in Durban.
Eight other people who were also in the two vehicles sustained various injuries.
It is not clear what caused last night's collision.
Crisis Medical's Kyle van Reenen says when they got there they found three of the eight survivors trapped under the small car.
"Advanced life support intervention was required to stabilise them before they were transported by ambulance to hospital for further care", he said.
"The cause of the accident is unknown. Police were on scene and investigations are underway", van Reenen said.
