A man has been killed in a crash on Durban's M4 freeway in the early hours of this morning.

The bakkie crashed on the Northbound carriageway in the vicinity of Beachway Street in Durban North at about 3.30am.
Authorities are probing the exact cause of the accident.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the motorist passed away before they arrived at the scene.
"Paramedics also came across it while driving on the road. It appears the man died on impact," he said.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Meanwhile, at least 10 people have received treatment after a bakkie, transporting a group of people collided into the back of a truck on the N2 off-ramp to the M41 in Umhlanga.
