Man killed in Cliffdale tanker explosion
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
A man has been killed and another injured following a tanker explosion in Cliffdale, outer west of Durban.

It's said the man was inside the tanker which was on location at a cleaning service when the explosion occurred, prompting the second man to immediately rush to try save him.
ER24 responded shortly after the incident yesterday.
The service's Ross Campbell says the second man in his 40s was heavily exposed to harmful chemicals.
"The injured patient is believed to have attempted to rescue that man but was overcome by carbon monoxide", he said.
"ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene along with the fire department where a 40 year old man was found to have suffered moderate to serious injures and was treated and transported to a private hospital in Hillcrest", Campbell said.
"Firefighters recovered the body of the deceased from inside the tanker and several police services were also on scene for further investigations", he said.
