Man killed after 12-metre fall from building in Durban

Police are investigating after two men fell 12 metres onto a concrete floor in Durban's Congella industrial area yesterday.
One of the security guards died on scene while the second is fighting for his life in hospital.
Police say the guards allegedly went to investigate - thinking there may have been intruders on the premises.

Spokesperson Thembeka Mbhele says they were alerted when they heard movement on the property.
"They heard a noise inside the premises then they suspected there were people trying to rob inside the premises. While they were climbing down the ladder - the roof just collapsed" she said.
