Man killed, 3 teachers hurt in Wartburg shooting

A man has been killed and three teachers left critically hurt in a shooting in Pietermaritzburg on Tuesday morning.

We’ve been told that shots were fired at their taxi near Wartburg – while they were making their way to Masijabule High School.
KwaZulu-Natal Education Department has added that the driver died and the three critically-wounded teachers were taken to hospital.
Seven other people were not hurt.
Education MEC, Kwazi Mshengu has just arrived on the scene.
