The Hawks say they will continue with their investigation into a drug trafficking case, despite a 52-year-old man being sentenced to 20 years behind bars.

Robert Makhumulo was sentenced in the Pongola Region in northern KwaZulu-Natal yesterday.
Makhumulo was arrested while en route from Swaziland to Johannesburg. He was found to have 200 kilos of heroin stashed in his truck.

The drugs were valued around R140-million. Hawks spokesperson, Simphiwe Mhlongo says he refused to give any information on his employers.
"The investigation will be continued as soon as we get any leads or information that might assist us or should Mr. Maphumulo change his mind and want to tell us more," he said.
Meanwhile three suspects aged 31, 38 and 57 - arrested in an undercover drug operation in Newcastle - are due to appear in the Newcastle Magistrate's Court today.
