Man gunned down in suspected taxi-related shooting at Warner Beach

A man has been gunned down at a petrol station in the south of Durban.
His body was found in a bullet-ridden car on Kingsway Street at Warner Beach on Tuesday.
Paramedics declared him dead on the scene.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst says the attack may have been taxi-related.
"Reports indicate that one person had been gunned down in what was alleged to be related to on-going taxi violence. When medics arrived on scene, they found an adult male seated in the driver's side of his bullet-riddled car."

"The man had sustained multiple high-calibre gunshot wounds throughout his body. The patient was assessed by an emergency care practitioner, however showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased on the scene.
"Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the Amanzimtoti SAPS who were on scene."
