Man gunned down in KwaDukuza
A man has been shot dead in KwaDukuza on the north coast.
Police say the 42-year-old was found slumped in the driver's seat of his car in Townview Road at about 7pm last night.
Spokesperson Thulani Zwane says the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Zwane says they cannot yet confirm claims that he was linked to the taxi industry.
"The KwaDukuza Police have opened a case of murder. On their arrival they noticed that a man was shot and killed in his vehicle and the motive for his shooting is still unknown at this stage. We are still investigating this matter, there are no arrests as yet, " he said.
IPSS Medical Rescue says the man was declared dead on scene.
