Man found shot in Chatsworth

Chatsworth police are working to identify relatives of a man who was found dead in Crossmoor yesterday morning.

Community members found the man - believed to be in his fifties - on Lilac Road. It's believed he had been dropping off refuse when he was attacked. Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says he was shot in the mouth.
Local detectives are investigating charges of murder.
"The deceased was wearing a red shirt and black shorts. We are appealing to anyone who can assist us in identifying his next of keen to contact Chatsworth police or our crime stop centre", she said.
