Man fighting for his life following Mandeni shooting
A man believed to be a north coast taxi owner has been left fighting for his life following a shootout in Mandeni this afternoon.
IPSS Medical Rescue paramedics are currently at the scene near the Renckens Spar.
The service's Paul Herbst says a man has been shot multiple times.
"A man was shot multiple times in the Mandeni area this afternoon. On arrival, medics found the man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds all over his body," he said.
Herbst says the man is in a critical condition.
The man is apparently being taken to hospital under police guard for safety reasons.
