Man dragged off 'overbooked' United Airlines plane

A video has surfaced of a passenger on a United Airlines flight being dragged off a plane in Chicago.

In the footage, plain-clothes security official are seen pulling the screaming man from his seat, before dragging him on his back, down the isle of the aircraft.
The incident happened yesterday before the flight, identified as 3411, was about to take off from the O'Hare International Airport. It was headed to Louisville, Kentucky.
United says the flight was overbooked and they asked passengers to voluntarily disembark.
United spokesperson, Charlie Hobart has told the Chicago Tribune that "after our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate."
"We apologise for the overbook situation," he said.
Other passengers were shocked by the manhandling of the passenger.
Here's the video that has been shared on twitter.
