Man dies after robbery at KZN home

A man from the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands has died after suffering a heart attack following a suspected house robbery.
According to ER24, the man went into cardiac arrest after being assaulted during the incident in Ladysmith on Sunday night.
Spokesperson Ineke van Huyssteen says medics found a family member performing CPR on him.

"Paramedics continued with CPR, but unfortunately, despite the best efforts of all involved, the man was declared dead shortly afterwards. Four other family members were also treated on the scene for minor injuries and shock.
"The exact circumstances were not known to our paramedics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.”
