Man critically injured in N2 crash airlifted to hospital
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
A critically injured man is being airlifted to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on the N2 near the King Shaka International Airport, north of Durban.

Two people were critically hurt when three cars and a truck collided on the southbound carriageway earlier.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says a number of other people are still being treated on the scene.
"A truck was carrying contract workers and those are the ones that came off the truck. They are currently in a critical condition," Herbst said.
Herbst says the helicopter had to land on the freeway, resulting in a heavy traffic backlog in the area.
The road has since been re-opened but motorists can still expect delays.
