A man is receiving treatment in hospital after being struck by a train near Shakaskraal, outside Ballito on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast.
Yesterday's incident comes just one day after a man was killed, also trying to cross the tracks, in the same area.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says the force of the impact knocked the man about 20 metres and down an embankment.
