Man in court for eShowe murders

A 54-year-old man is due to make his first appearance in the Eshowe Magistrates Court today in connection with the murder of four people in northern KZN.

A group of suspects entered the victims' rondawel in Mbongolwane - earlier this month and opened fire before setting the home alight.
Police said a week ago that three people died at the home.
The fourth person died in hospital due to the severity of his injuries last week. Another person remains in hospital.

Two suspects were arrested soon after the attack and taken in for questioning.
The latest arrest means three people now face four charges of murder and one of attempted murder.
The motive for the attack is still under investigation.
