eShowe residents shaken after three recent murders

An eShowe councillor has appealed for help in making sure those behind the murders of three children in the area are locked up.

Two teenagers and a 10-year-old boy were killed in three separate incidents over the last month and a bit.
Police say 16-year-old Luyanda Nsele was found dead last month at Mlalazi Reserve with multiple stab wounds.
A few days later, the body of 15-year-old Menzi Mthimkhulu body was discovered in a sugar cane field at KwaSitimbela with an open wound to his chest.
Yesterday, officers were called when the body of 10-year-old Sibongakonke Mpungose was found floating at Umlalazi River.
Area councillor, Sanele Thango says the incidents have left community members shaken.
"The community is very anxious about the whole situation we are facing right now. There is police visibility in the area and we are working well with the SAPS. If anyone has information that might lead to the arrests of these monsters who kill our children, go to the police," he said.
Police say the motives for the killings have not yet been established.
