Man busted for hiding cocaine in chocolate wrapping at CTN airport

A 37-year-old man
has been arrested at Cape Town International Airport on charges of drug
trafficking.
The man was arrested on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Joseph Swartbooi says the man was nabbed after he landed at the airport on a flight from Dubai.
“Amidst the hustle and bustle, members kept close observation and conducted intense searches.

“Their mandate was fulfilled when they confiscated 4kg of cocaine wrapped in chocolate wrappings hidden in the luggage of one of the passengers.
“Once charged, the suspect will make a court appearance in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court.”
