Chatsworth police are investigating an attempted murder case following a shooting in Shallcross.

Chatsworth police are investigating an attempted murder case following a shooting in Shallcross.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says a group of armed suspects opened fire on two people who were travelling in their vehicle on Table Mountain Road on Wednesday morning.
"The suspects who were travelling in a white vehicle fled from the scene,
"Both victims, aged 28 and 41, were taken to a hospital where they remain in a stable condition.
"Two counts of attempted murder will be opened at Chatsworth for further investigation."
One of the victims is believed to be a relative of slain suspected drug lord Yaganathan Pillay, who was known as Teddy Mafia.
