Man arrested for rape of male teenager

KZN Police say they have arrested a 41-year-old man who allegedly raped another man at gunpoint in Verulam.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the man stopped to give the 18-year-old a lift on Wednesday in Mount View when the incident happened. Gwala says it is understood that the man threatened the young man with a firearm and raped him.
"The matter was arrested by Phoenix SAPS and the man was arrested", she said.
"He is appearing in the Verulam Magistrate's Court", Gwala said.
