Man arrested for Phoenix fire which left 5 dead, including child (3)

Five people, including a child, have been killed in a fire that ripped through a block of flats on Kidstone Place in Phoenix, north of Durban.
Seven residents managed to escape the flames on Monday morning.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Jay Naicker says a three-year-old child was among the victims.
"The deceased are aged between 37 and 3 years old. Residents reported that there was a domestic altercation at the home prior to the fire.
"A 57-year-old man has been arrested by Phoenix police at the home of his relatives in the Phoenix area. He had serious burn wounds and was taken to a local hospital where he is being held under police guard.
"Phoenix police are investigating a case of arson and murder."
