Man accused of killing fiancée in Ndwedwe due in court

A 43-year-old man accused of killing his fiancée and another man in Ndwedwe is appearing in court on Thursday.

A gunman went to the home of a 36-year-old man in Ezindlovini on Wednesday morning.
Police say he kicked open the door and shot the man dead.
He then went to his 34-year-old partner's house and killed her.
The woman's mother and an eight-year-old child were wounded in the shooting.

It's understood he had accused his fiancée of cheating.
"The suspect fled the scene in his gateway vehicle," says KZN police spokesperson Thenjiswa Ngcobo.
"Police officers from the surrounding police stations and units were mobilised and gave chase.
"The suspect was arrested at Ngcongangconga in Nsuze where he was also found in unlawful possession a firearm and ammunition. He will make his first appearance at the Nsuze Magistrate's Court."
