Malesela Teffo withdraws from Senzo Meyiwa murder trial
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The lawyer representing four of the five accused in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has dropped a bombshell.

Advocate Malesela Teffo has withdrawn from the case.
He told the North Gauteng High Court on Tuesday that he can no longer be part of the trial because he's received numerous threats.
He says they began from the time he was arrested in court earlier this year.
"There has been harassment that I should not be part of this case from the police and from the NPA. I came here knowing what will be the consequences."
Malesela made some serious allegations before walking out of court.
"On the 28th of April, when I was arrested before the court, that was a plan. The plan was hatched in the office of the president of the number one in the country.
"That I am a problematic advocate, I am interfering with a plan that has been hatched that my client should take responsibility of the murder of Senzo Meyiwa, despite the fact that they were innocent."
