Malema land grab case postponed
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema briefly appeared in the Newcastle Magistrate's Court in Kwa-Zulu Natal on Friday.
The case has been postponed to 4 July 2017.
Malema has been charged for violating the Riotous Assemblies Act over comments he made in Newcastle and Bloemfontein.
He called on supporters to occupy land because they "needed the land in order to eat and work".
The case was previously postponed in February to give Malema's legal representatives the opportunity to approach the Constitutional Court to have the Riotous Assemblies Act declared unconstitutional.
