Major decrease in fuel prices expected for December

Motorists and consumers might be in for some relief at the pumps next month.
Late month predictions from the Automobile Association of South Africa are that petrol users could pay around R1.85 less per litre from next month.
Diesel users are expected to pay around R1.40 less.
The AA's Layton Beard says paraffin could drop by R1.28.
South Africans have had to ensure several major fuel price hikes in recent months, with many people complaining that the cost of living is getting too high.

The AA says December's more favourable predictions are based primarily on a slightly stronger Rand against the US Dollar and the lower international oil price.
Brent crude oil is being traded at less than 60 Dollars a barrel this morning.
The Energy Department is yet to announce December's adjustments. Any changes to the fuel price would kick-in on the first Wednesday of the month.
