Magaqa case postponed, accused remain in custody

Three men accused of the murder of ANC councillor, Sindiso Magaqa remain behind bars after they weredenied bail.

Magaqa who was a former Secretary-General of the ANC Youth League - died months after being shot in an ambush in Umzimkhulu two years ago.
Sibonelo Myeza, Mbulelo Mpofana and Mxolisi Ncalane were in the Umzimkhulu Magistrate's Court yesterday.
The NPA's Natasha Kara says the matter has been postponed to May 31.
"This date is set for that matter to be joined to the case of the original accused in this matter."
Former Harry Gwala Mayor Mluleki Ndobe - was also arrested in connection with Magaqa's murder - but the charges against him were provisionally withdrawn.
