Mabuyakhulu, co-accused due back in court in April
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
KZN's former Tourism MEC will head back to court in April.

Mike Mabuyakhulu and his five co-accused face charges of fraud, corruption and money laundering.
They stem from a multi-million rand payment, allegedly made to service providers, despite the cancellation of a local jazz festival.
The R28-million was allegedly paid to companies the accused are linked to.
Mabuyakhulu - who is currently the ANC's convener of the Provincial Task Team - and two others were released on R50 000 bail while three others were released on R30 000.

In their bail bid - legal representatives argued that the accused have been co-operating with authorities, have family and community ties to the region, local responsibilities and should not be considered flight risks.
Bail conditions include not interfering with evidence or witnesses and disclosing any travel out of the province. The matter returns to court on the 6th of April.
