M4 stranded motorist stabbed in neck
A motorist whose vehicle had broken down along the M4, just before Edwin Swales, has been stabbed in the neck.
It is believed that last night while waiting for assistance on the side of the road he was targeted. Rescue Care services responded immediately after. Their Advanced Life Support paramedics had to intervene to stabilize the man.
Once successfully stabilized they rushed him through to a nearby hospital. Police have also begun investigating the incident in hopes of catching the attacker.
In a separate, unrelated incident, 6 people sustained minor injuries when 5 cars collided along the N2 just before the Ballito onramp.
Netcare 911 medics responded and treated them for minor injuries. The were also taken through to hospital.
