The plane vanished during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on 8 March 2014.
After taking statements and conducting an inspection of where the debris has been kept over the last two months, the officials secured the debris for transportation to Midrand.
Candace Lotter says they're hoping that if confirmed this will help investigators and the families.
