Looters raid wrecked beer lorry in Mtunzini
Updated | By News24
Looters have raided a beer truck which had overturned on the N2 near Mtunzini in KwaZulu-Natal while the driver lay trapped and badly injured inside.

It is understood that the truck had struck a stationary minibus taxi, causing it to veer from the road and overturn, spilling its hoppy cargo.
KZN EMS spokesperson Robert McKenzie says that the driver of the truck had sustained serious injuries.
"The truck driver was treated and stabilised by paramedics at the roadside before he was moved by ambulance to the Ngwelazane Hospital for further medical care."
The Zululand Observer reported yesterday that the N2 on the north coast was closed for several hours while the scene was cleared.
