KZN pupils from the Class of 2023 found out on
Friday how they fared in the National Senior Certificate assessments.

The national pass rate improved in 2022, climbing to 82.9 per cent.
A student from Ulundi says he still can't believe he's one of KZN's top achievers.
Simlindile Khumalo, who matriculated from Ondini High School, says he was invited to a congratulatory breakfast in Randburg by the Basic Education Minister.
"Getting that surprising call from the minister’s office to summon me to this top achievers function, was amazing. At first, I was in shock and disbelief, but as they kept on giving me information, I saw it was legitimate that I had really made it."
Simlindile - who came second in the province's quintile 4 school category - says he wants to study at Wits or UCT.
He bagged 100% in Mathematics and 99% for Accounting.
"I want to be a medical doctor so I can be able to offer that quality healthcare that is currently lacking in rural areas."
