Yesterday eThekwini Executive Committee members gave the project the green light.
At the sitting, it was revealed the project will create an estimated 18 000 jobs during the four years planned for construction.
But, the alliance's Desmond D'sa insists the logistics company will cause an increase in emissions as a result of the traffic.
"Exco should have had input from the community. They've not invited us to that presentation," he said.
"All the monitoring and credible data from the Ganges side - in other words all the air quality vehicle emission data show that that area has the highest emissions," D'sa added.
The alliance had several protests against the proposed park last year, fearing it will take away one of the only green lungs left in the industrial area.
Yesterday, Council Speaker Logie Naidoo urged that a portion of the land be preserved and that the bio-diversity of the area be protected.
