Lockdown day 300, SA records 839 COVID-19 deaths

9 780 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours in our country.
This takes our overall national case tally to 1 356 716.
There've also been 839 new deaths meaning the overall number of fatalities from the virus now stand at 38 288.

There hasn't been a change in the order of provinces with Gauteng still leading with 366 432 cases followed by KZN with 287 042 cases.
While the Western Cape still has the third highest number of cases at 259 058.
