Load shedding ramped up to stage 4 as 5 units break down

Stage 4 load shedding made its dreaded return on Tuesday
morning.

The rolling blackouts began at 5.30am, with Eskom saying generators broke down at five power stations overnight.
"Load shedding will be implemented until further notice,” is all Eskom spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha had to say.
