The llembe District Municipality has recently unveiled a fleet of 36 water tankers to help ensure water supply during the festive season.
In a statement, the District was commenting on the water supply challenges experienced by KwaDukuza residents in recent weeks.

It says during this time it spent R88.4 Million on replacing ageing infrastructure that caused most of the water supply problems.
Water has since been restored to all affected areas.
The municipality says these new tankers will be able to dispense water faster to more areas, as workers remain on high alert.
