LISTEN: Your favourite, Traffic Guy, JVB says goodbye
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
It's an emotional day for KZN as East Coast Radio bids farewell to traffic legend, Johann von Bargen today.

JVB - as he's fondly known - has been on radio for 33 years and with the East Coast Radio family since the station first started.
"I'm going to miss everybody, of course, especially the East Coast Radio guys that I've worked with for so long. I will miss the roadies, the people who listen in, the people that benefit from the traffic updates. Very importantly, I will miss the people that feed me the information so that I can pass the details on as their messenger. Those guys have been dedicated roadies," he says.
East Coast Radio Programming Manager, Zane Derbyshire says JVB has been an asset to KwaZulu-Natal listeners.
"It's always an auspicious occasion when a legend like JVB leaves a brand like East Coast Radio after 33 years. It's a great achievement and he is probably one of the longest-serving, if not the longest serving, traffic guy in South Africa. We sincerely thank him for his service over the past 33 years," Zane Derbyshire says.
The Traffic Guy will deliver his last traffic report during East Coast Drive with Bongani and Mags this afternoon between 4pm and 6pm.
