LISTEN: Students submit memorandum to Speaker of the provincial legislature
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana
UKZN students have arrived at the Provincial Legislature to hand over a memorandum of concerns to Speaker Lydia Johnson.

They marched from the Pietermaritzburg campus on Alan Paton Avenue this morning - rejecting a tuition fee increase of up to 8%.
They're also protesting against what they've described as police brutality on the campus and the sexual assault of a student, allegedly by members of the SAPS.
Listen below to students speaking about how the proposed fee increments will affect their lives:
Earlier today, a 400-strong crowd kicked-off their march carrying placards that read 'Fees Must Fall', 'The Revolution is coming' and 'We will fight for our country'.
On arrival at the Provincial Legislature, Speaker Lydia Johnson received the document, which she signed - adding they will first have to study the memorandum, before they can hand it over to the relevant education bodies.
