LISTEN: ‘She went the extra mile to make me happy' says Anele Tembe's father
22-year-old Anele Tembe is being laid to rest in Durban today.
Tembe who was the fiancee of SA artist, AKA or Keanan Forbes - tragically died on Sunday morning - when she fell from the 10th floor of a Cape Town Hotel.
A funeral service is being held at the Durban ICC. She will be buried at the Lala Kahle Cemetery.
She will be remembered as a talented chef and graduated from the Jackie Cameron School of Food and Wine in 2018 and dreamt of opening her own restaurant.
Her father - Moses Tembe says his daughter's dreams have been shattered.
"She went an extra mile in making me happy as the father of a girl child. Anele was feisty, strong-willed as some would say."
"She was single-minded in her pursuits and ways. What others would critically call stubborn. Anele never minced her words, an attribute that perturbed her siblings."
