eThekwini Fire responded to the callout at a block of flats in Musgrave Saturday night.
WATCH:
The fire department's Trevor Stevens, says the fire gutted a section of a block of flats, however, there were no fatalities or injuries.
He says by the time firefighters arrived, at least three flats were already alight, burning right through to the roof.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
