Limpopo bus crash claims 12 lives

At least 12 passengers have been killed and two others are in a critical condition after their bus overturned on the N1 near Mookgopong, in the Limpopo province.
Transport spokesperson, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala says the vehicle was transporting passengers from Zambia to South Africa - when the vehicle had a tyre puncture.
Two passengers are in a critical condition while 30 others were hurt.

"It looks like the bus has been on the road for a long period of time which would have affected the tyre as well as the concentration of the driver," he said.

Moremi-Taueatsoala adds home affairs officials are on the ground to identify foreign nationals that were passengers on the bus.
